Tabletennis at TTV Valkenswaard
Tabletennis for young and old, competitive or recreational.
TTV Valkenswaard is one of the oldest and largest tabletennis clubs in the Eindhoven Brainport region. From young to old, all ages can find an opportunity to play tabletennis as a competitve sport or just for the necessary recreation.

Youth
At TTV Valkenswaard, young beginner table tennis players receive lessons from certified trainers: they teach children the fundamentals of the sport. Training sessions take place in the early evening: 18:00-19:00 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
The NTTB also organizes youth competitions: teams of three play 20 matches (10 in the autumn and 10 in the spring). The teams are divided according to skill level, and the matches are played on Saturdays.
In addition to the competition, there is also the Table Stars program, where young people learn to play competitively in an accessible way.

Competitive
Those wishing to play table tennis in a competitive setting will also find plenty of opportunities at TTV Valkenswaard. The club has seven teams at virtually all competition levels of the SouthWest region of the Dutch Table Tennis Association (NTTB). The flagship team has been playing in the SouthWest 1st Class for years. The other teams play in the 3rd through 6th Classes.
A season in the NTTB table tennis competition consists of an autumn and a spring round with pools of six teams, which play five home and five away matches in each round. A team plays twenty matches per season, and there are promotions and relegations in the autumn and spring. TTV Valkenswaard plays its home matches on Friday evenings, as most clubs do. However, there are also clubs that play on other weekdays or on Saturdays.
